Responsibilities
  • Provide prenatal care, including physical examinations, prenatal testing, counseling and education to pregnant patients.
  • Admits, manages and delivers own OB patients.
  • Assists physicians with C‑sections and other surgeries.
  • Appropriately and promptly recognizes and responds to the need for intervention and emergencies and refers to or obtains assistance from physicians.
  • Conduct postpartum visits, including physical assessments, breastfeeding support and counseling on newborn care.
  • Provide gynecological care, including exams, contraceptive counseling and treatment of common gynecological conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and evidence‑based care.
  • Educate pregnant women with diabetes on the potential risks and complications associated with uncontrolled diabetes during pregnancy and the importance of tight glycemic control for maternal and fetal well‑being.
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology or current certification as a Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
  • Masters degree in Nursing.
  • At least a minimum of 1 year experience working as a CNM; 4 preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.

Open to non‑locals: $5,000 sign‑on that could be used for relocation.
