Fine Gardening Landscape Maintenance Crew

compensation: $20-30/h, full time 1099-NEC

Position is seasonal, working mainly weekdays 8:30‑5 after orientation with flexible hours. The role covers maintenance of about 50 residential gardens in Bend, including cleanups and garden installations, from March through early December.

Pay starts at $20 per hour, negotiable up to $30/h based on experience and performance. Leaders may qualify for a supervisory/managerial rate of $35/h.

• Cultivate and maintain a variety of annuals, perennials, vines, shrubs, and trees.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including weeding and trimming.
• Operate and maintain tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects and respond to client needs.
• Drive to various job sites as required, adhering to safety regulations.

• Experience, knowledge, and skills growing ornamental plants and landscapes.
• Own and skillfully use your own hand tools: pruners, weeding tool, rake, bag.
• Self‑starter, motivated, positive attitude, growth mindset, collaborative, professional.
• Interested in learning proper techniques and responsive to feedback.
• Enjoy working solo and as a team while also having fun.
• Attention to detail.
• Reliable, honest, friendly, helpful.
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs short distances, work in outdoor temperatures, safety oriented.
• Reliable transportation (truck a bonus) and a valid driver’s license.
• Smartphone for communication and timesheet app.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance and demeanor.
• Pass a background check.
