Position OverviewJoin our team as a Part‑Time Veterinarian with predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment. You will work alongside a locally led care team, supported by national resources, to stay clinically engaged while maintaining balance, connection, and continuity of care.

- Perform diagnostic procedures and surgery
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Prescribe medications and follow controlled substance protocols
- Promote teamwork and staff efficiency
- Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations
- Evaluate and monitor protocols for daily hospital operations from intake to discharge
- Monitor cases and attend daily rounds when possible to uphold high standards
- Participate in practice management updates and training at all levels
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
- Applicant must be 18 years of age or older
- Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university
- Current State Veterinary License
- DEA registration obtained and maintained
- At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent surgical and dental skills
- Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high‑quality veterinary care
- Effective communication with Medical and Hospital staff
- Client communication skills, including rapport building and clear explanation to pet owners
- Confidence and reassurance when dealing with pets experiencing severe stress, illness, or pain
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; periodic physically demanding work
- Demonstrate clinical knowledge and skill in examining and assessing animals, including cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological, and other necessary examinations; diagnose and prescribe treatment
- Problem‑solving skills to address challenges in the management of a high‑quality veterinary hospital
- Effective communication of diagnostic and therapeutic options to clients and internal staff
- Professionalism and ability to provide and receive constructive criticism
- Business acumen for understanding hospital management and finances
- Knowledge of ethical principles guiding patient‑care decisions
- Commitment to continuing education and facilitation of learning for others
Pay Range: $115,000–$130,000 USD
