Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
- Maintain medical charting for all patients.
- Educate clients about Wellness Plans.
- Assist with patient intake and discharge.
- Manage hospital supplies and inventory.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6+ months of experience in the veterinary industry.
- Completion of an NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to enhance and acquire new veterinary technical skills.
- Experience in handling dogs, cats, and exotic animals.
Demonstrates proficiency in veterinary support, including patient intake, discharge processes, and medical charting. Possesses strong knowledge of animal handling and client education regarding wellness plans.
