We’re looking for a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support our Quality team in ensuring the safety, consistency, and quality of our products. In this role, you’ll operate analytical equipment, perform daily lab testing, maintain accurate documentation, and help uphold our food safety and quality standards across the facility.

SHIFT WE'RE HIRING FOR:- Fridays-Mondays from 7am-5:30pm
- Perform daily quality control and quality assurance testing on products at various stages (raw, in-process, and finished kombucha)
- Conduct analytical testing including pH, titratable acidity (TA), Brix, sugar levels, and other key parameters
- Accurately record and enter data into tracking systems
- Collect product and environmental samples as needed
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper functioning of lab equipment and workspace
- Support compliance with Food Safety Management Systems, GMPs, HACCP, and regulatory standards
- Assist with internal audits and monitoring of production processes
- Review, update, and help maintain documentation including SOPs, SSOPs, and GMP-related materials
- Collaborate with QA, QC, and R&D teams on product quality initiatives and new projects
- Provide coverage for lab team members as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the lab and broader quality function
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience)
- Foundational knowledge of microbiology and chemistry principles
- Experience with lab techniques such as pipetting (preferred)
- Experience with gas chromatography (GC) is a plus
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes in food or beverage manufacturing (kombucha or fermentation experience is a bonus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Production and laboratory environment with cross‑functional collaboration
- May require evening, weekend, or holiday work based on production needs
- Extended periods of standing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
- Occasional travel may be required
