We’re looking for a detail-oriented and quality-minded Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Control & Assurance team. In this role, you’ll work closely with our production teams to help ensure our products are made safely, consistently, and in compliance with company, food safety, and regulatory standards.
This is a hands-on role that spends significant time on a busy production floor. You’ll monitor and verify production processes, review documentation and batch records, complete quality checks, and help identify and address potential quality or food safety concerns.

SHIFT SCHEDULE REQUIRMENTS:
- Thursday-Saturday DAYS (5am-5:30pm PST)
- Thursday-Saturday NIGHTS (5pm-5:30am PST)
- Complete and accurately document required QC checks throughout the production process.
- Monitor and verify procedures, production logs, and batch records.
- Review production activities for compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Help ensure manufacturing processes meet established standards and specifications.
- Monitor and support compliance with GMPs, HACCP/PC plans, SSOPs, SOPs, and other applicable food safety programs.
- Support internal audits related to food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, including SQF, Kosher, and Organic requirements.
- Promote and reinforce good manufacturing and food safety practices across the production floor.
- Use production and ERP systems to properly identify, track, and communicate held or quarantined products and raw materials.
- Collect and document quality data and assist with responding to consumer concerns.
- Assist the Quality Manager with maintaining and improving quality control procedures, standards, and specifications.
- Help maintain document integrity through review, updates, and proper application of controlled documents.
- Communicate quality or food safety concerns to the appropriate teams and help guide corrective actions when needed.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Operations, and other internal teams to support a strong culture of quality.
- Serve as a positive example of professionalism, accountability, and the company’s values.
- Perform other duties as assigned that are reasonably related to the role.
- High school diploma or GED.
- One of the following:
- College coursework or a degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Food Manufacturing, or a related field; or
- At least 6 months of experience working in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of food safety principles, HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions consistently.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a larger production team.
- Basic computer skills, including email, file management, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Ability and willingness to learn and troubleshoot ERP and other production systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Food safety or quality certifications.
- Experience working in a food manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with SQF, Kosher, Organic, or other food safety and regulatory programs.
- Experience with internal audits or quality documentation.
