Role Overview
Associate Scientist position with experience in fish ecology, statistical analyses, and technical writing.
Responsibilities- Collect, source, curate, compile, and perform QA/QC on environmental data sets.
- Analyze data from active and passive fish tagging studies (PIT, AT, PBT, and others).
- Conduct aerial and benthic surveys, water quality assessments, and other related environmental data collection.
- Perform analyses on predator‑prey interactions involving piscivorous colonial waterbirds.
- Quantify factors that limit the abundance and survival of ESA‑listed species.
- Authorship of technical reports and research grant proposals.
