We are Regency Village at Bend, centrally located in beautiful Bend, OR. We are a retirement and assisted living community providing each individual compassionate care in a nurturing environment. We are looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team.
Join our team at Regency Village at Bend as a Cook and play an integral role in creating exceptional culinary experiences for our residents. If you are passionate about food, teamwork and making a difference in the lives of our seniors through great food and amazing service, this is the job for you!As a cook, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee food service operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available.
You will:
- Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe.
- Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
- Clean and maintain a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
- Comply with state sanitation codes
- Maintain inventory control, place food orders, verify that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
- Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed
- Can obtain Food Handler's card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
- Typical candidates have one year of cooking experience.
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
