The Bartender at one of Oxford’s luxury or boutique-style hotels is responsible for crafting and serving high-quality cocktails and beverages while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a sophisticated hotel setting. This role requires strong knowledge of mixology, fine spirits, and wine, along with the ability to engage guests with professionalism, warmth, and personalized service. The Bartender ensures all beverages are prepared and presented with consistency, quality, and attention to detail while maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar.

The Bartender plays a key role in striving to meet and exceed Four-Star service standards delivering high-quality service and amenities with strong attention to detail, ensuring excellence in every guest interaction, and consistently exceeding expectations.

All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.

• Prepare and serve premium cocktails, wine, and other beverages with precision and consistency
• Follow standardized recipes while incorporating creativity for signature drinks
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, wine pairings, and spirits based on guest preferences
• Maintain consistent beverage presentation, portion control, and garnishing standards that reflect the hotel’s upscale environment
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
• Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served
• Display knowledge of liquor laws, maintain the attractive presentation and sanitize all areas at least once daily, make suggestions for the reception and drink menus
• Bus and clean tables after guest use

• Greet all guests warmly and provide attentive, knowledgeable service as they enter the lounge, offering thoughtful drink and food recommendations in alignment with Oxford Collection’s elevated service standards
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with legal drinking age requirements; check identification for guests appearing under the age of 26
