Pay: $28.00+ per hour, depending on experience

Bridge & Burn was founded by Erik, a Bend native who draws deep inspiration from Central Oregon’s landscape and culture. Now living back in Bend, Erik and the team are excited to open a retail location in the community that has always been at the heart of the brand.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead the launch and daily operations of our new Bend retail store. The Store Manager will be responsible for building and managing a team, delivering an outstanding customer experience, and driving sales and profitability from day one.

  • Lead the opening of the Bend location, including setup, hiring, and establishing store culture
  • Manage and lead a team of retail associates, providing guidance, training, and ongoing support
  • Create and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained
  • Oversee visual merchandising to maximize sales potential and reflect the Bridge & Burn brand
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
  • Interview, hire, and train new employees as needed
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and product knowledge
  • Utilize retail math to analyze sales data, track performance, and make informed business decisions
  • Collaborate with the Portland team on brand standards, inventory flow, and marketing initiatives
Experience
  • Proven experience in team management within a retail environment
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, including cash register operation, stock management, and visual merchandising
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with customers and suppliers
  • Experience in conducting interviews and hiring new employees
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in using technology such as point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience opening a new retail location is a plus
