Commercial Lines Account Manager

Overview

Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team in Bend, OR. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their coverage requirements, recommending appropriate insurance products, and ensuring that their policies are up-to-date and meet their needs.

• Help customers understand their insurance policies/coverages and determine individual service needs.
• Answer customer and carrier questions via their preferred communication method, covering policies, endorsements, audits, accounting/billing, and coordination of claims/lost‑control services.
• Oversee assigned book of business, including policy changes, proposals, applications, and endorsements.
• Maintain high retention on existing accounts.
• Increase revenue by cross‑selling and writing new business.
• Attend required training sessions and courses to maintain skills and licensing requirements.
• Build and nurture relationships with teammates across all levels of Brown & Brown.
• Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures.
• Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality.

• Oregon and Washington P&C license.
• 3+ years of commercial insurance experience.
• Exceptional telephone demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
