Job Description
We are a leading Farmers Insurance agency in Bend, Oregon, and we're looking for a motivated, results-oriented Insurance Sales Producer to join our high-performing team.
In this role, you'll play a key part in driving agency growth by helping individuals, families, and businesses find insurance solutions that provide security and peace of mind. You'll develop new business opportunities, consult with prospective clients, and build lasting relationships through exceptional service and trusted advice.

First year income expectation: $48,000 - $72,000

- Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and inbound & outbound sales activities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
- Follow up promptly on leads and inquiries to identify opportunities and close sales.
- Conduct thorough assessments of prospective clients' insurance needs, financial situations, and long‑term goals.
- Recommend customized insurance solutions that align with client objectives.
- Educate clients on coverage options, policy features, benefits, and costs.
- Review existing client accounts to identify coverage gaps and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Strengthen client relationships through proactive communication and ongoing support.
- Assist clients with policy updates, renewals, and claims-related questions.
- Submit and manage insurance applications and work closely with underwriting teams to secure coverage.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions within the agency's CRM and management systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless client experience from onboarding through policy servicing.
- Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and carrier offerings.
- Uphold agency values of integrity, reliability, teamwork, gratitude, and continuous growth.
- Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses are required prior to employment; candidates must obtain both licenses within 30 days of accepting an offer.
- Ability to prospect, develop leads, and close sales.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
