In this position, you'll work directly with customers at the counter, over the phone, and via email to understand their needs, offer expert recommendations, prepare quotes, and close sales.

You’ll collaborate closely with outside sales and internal support teams to ensure exceptional service and the right products are delivered.

What You'll DoAs an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting customers with counter sales, product selection, and technical questions.
• Responding to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Identifying customer needs and recommending hydraulic, fluid power, and heavy equipment solutions.
• Preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up on sales opportunities.
• Developing relationships with new and existing customers to grow sales.
• Supporting outside sales reps with quotes, customer info, and order coordination.
• Maintaining accurate customer and sales data in the CRM system.
• Collaborating with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Following up with customers to uncover additional sales or service opportunities.
• Keeping the counter environment organized, professional, and customer-friendly.

What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
• 2+ years of inside sales, counter sales, customer service, or business development experience preferred.
• Background in hydraulics, fluid power, heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or construction preferred.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
• Strong attention to detail with good organizational and follow-up skills.
• Comfort working with CRM platforms, business software, and sales/order management systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with sales, warehouse, and operations teams.
• A motivated, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
