Lube Technician

Dealership: L0219 Bend Honda

We are now hiring a Lube Technician. Pay: $20.00 per clocked hour with opportunity to flag hours at a higher rate.

Department

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 7:00pm;
Saturday 9:00am - 6:00pm;
Sunday 10:00am - 6:00pm.

• Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunction and complete all work according to applicable safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time‑clocking procedures.
• Document work performed and test procedures/results on repair orders.
• Maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels, punches, etc.) and return special tools to the proper place.
• Use shop supplies and materials in a practical and economical manner.
• Keep the workspace organized and clean, completing a stall cleaning each day; ensure vehicles are returned to customers clean.
• Complete all required training and acquire/manufacture and ASE certifications as required.
• Participate in technical training assigned by management; review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned.
• Communicate constructively with dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes safety, welfare or integrity of the dealership, its personnel or customers.

• No previous experience required—just a passion for automotive.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, excellent communication.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in your state of residence.
• High school graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to flag hours at a higher rate.
