Maintenance Technician

What You’ll Do

• Perform installation, repair, and preventive maintenance across multiple commercial buildings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve building maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
• Complete work orders electronically using a smartphone; ensure timely and accurate updates.
• Communicate effectively with tenants, property managers, vendors, and other team members.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure impacted tenants are notified.
• Assist with vendor management, including material ordering and onsite oversight.
• Participate in regular check-ins with property managers to review progress and workload.
• Create and maintain a monthly maintenance calendar; inspect properties quarterly.
• Follow safety procedures and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Carry and maintain appropriate tools and equipment for daily tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Strong working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance and the past experience using the tools of these trades.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.
• Comfortable using modern technology, including mobile apps and cloud-based work order systems.
• Team-oriented, organized, and capable of working in diverse building environments.

• 3–5 years of commercial building maintenance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Oregon driver's license and commercially insurable driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment.
• Proof of auto liability insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening including THC.
• Availability for occasional overtime and on‑call emergency response.

• Working outside year round in all of Central Oregon’s glorious weather conditions.
