Direct Support Professional (After School Mentor) – Part-time Only Position

This position is specifically designated to work with clients ages 3-17 on weekdays in the afternoons and on weekends. Ideal candidates must have availability Monday-Friday from 2:00pm-7:00pm and relatively open availability on Weekends.
Location: Bend, Redmond, Terrebonne, Sisters, Madras, Prineville, Sunriver, La Pine (Depending on your preference and client availability)
Pay: $22 – $24 per hour, paid biweekly

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll be part of a dedicated and caring team helping individuals live fuller, more meaningful lives. This isn’t just a job—it’s a calling.

As a DSP, you’ll provide attendant care, relief care, DSA and help clients
engage in community activities such as social events, shopping, volunteer work, and more.

You’ll also:

• Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — physical, emotional, behavioral, and communication needs
• Assist with household tasks and home management
• Encourage and model life skills and independence
• Promote positive self-esteem and build meaningful relationships
• Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate documentation
• Champion our mission: supporting individuals in living life to their fullest potential

You are someone who is:

• 18+ years old
• Experienced: 1+ year supporting someone with I/DD (professionally or personally)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality
• A team player who also thrives working independently
• Open to shifts that may include days, evenings, weekends and overnights

Requirements:

• Valid
  driver’s license
  , active auto insurance
  , and reliable vehicle
• Able to pass a criminal background check
• Able to obtain a CPR/First Aid Certification (resources available upon hire)
• Able to lift up to 50 LBS
• Be comfortable working in a diverse range of home environments
