Position: Commercial Driver (977-BN)
Job Summary Postal Delivery Systems is a growing US Mail hauler providing dependable mail transportation services for the United States Postal Service. We are seeking experienced Commercial Drivers (class A preferred) to safely and efficiently transport USPS mail between local postal facilities originated in Bend, OR while maintaining strict compliance with USPS, DOT, and company regulations.

Flexible availability is required. Shifts available 7 days a week. Both full-time and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles (Box Truck) to transport USPS mail and equipment

Load, unload, and secure mail in accordance with USPS procedures

Maintain chain-of-custody and comply with all USPS security requirements

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tractor and trailer)
Accurately complete driver logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation

Properly use and remain compliant with the DOT-mandated Electronic Logging Device (ELD) application at all times

Maintain assigned schedules and meet delivery deadlines

Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and USPS personnel

Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies

Maintain a professional appearance and clean equipment

Valid Commercial License (Class A preferred)
Must be 25 years of age or older

Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience

Postal Experience preferred

Ability to pass background check, MVR review by insurance, DOT drug testing and DOT physical examination.

Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial motor vehicle

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.

Ability to climb in and out of trucks safely

Ability to secure loads using ratchet straps, load bars, or other securement devices.

Ability to bend, stop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead,Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
