Driver-Non Cdl-Bend

Position Summary

A Container Delivery Driver – Non CDL is responsible for safely operating a vehicle and providing prompt, courteous and complete container delivery and removal services for residential and/or commercial customers. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with the Company’s safety standards prior to operation, adhere to all Company, state and federal regulations at all times, and complete Vehicle Condition Reports (VCRs) daily to ensure any vehicle defects are repaired promptly.

• Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of the vehicle to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order.
• Report any safety issues on standard reports.
• Safely operate a truck along the designated route or within the yard, read route sheets, follow maps and serve each customer as identified by the dispatcher or supervisor.
• Operate manual and automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load containers at the designated facility.
• Courteously interact with customers, dispatchers and others to ensure all routes are serviced in a timely manner.
• Perform minor repairs to containers on site or in the container yard.
• Cleans areas around any accidental waste spill, ensuring adherence to all applicable safety standards and policies.
• Continuously monitor the vehicle’s condition to ensure it remains operationally ready, minimizing downtime.
• Complete required route/productivity sheets, VCRs and other reports as necessary.
• Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in the Company’s ReSOP program.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
