American Civil Constructors West Coast is currently seeking 2026 summer Interns excited to learn more about the inner-workings of the construction industry and assist us with our summer workload in both our Benicia, CA office.

We work all over the country for various DOT's and Public Works Agencies. Our seasoned crews and management work as one to complete projects quickly and efficiently, to the Owner's satisfaction. Many of our projects are quick turn-around (1-4 weeks), which provides a unique opportunity for summer interns to see projects from start to finish. Responsibilities Tracking Production and Inventory Handling Subcontracts and Purchase Orders Job billings Coordinating Varying Work Schedules (Day/Night) Working Closely with Project Managers, Subcontractors/Suppliers, DOT's/Owners Assisting Project Managers and Field Engineers in their duties Collecting quantities for payment Qualifications Currently studying for a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.

Ability to read and understand project plans will be very helpful but is not required. Excellent computer skills, a willingness to learn, good organizational and time management skills, ability to work as a team, great communication skills (verbal and written), ability to work without direct supervision, and enthusiasm to get to work are all essential to this job. Reliable transportation to and from the office is a must!
