Salary: $120,000 - $165,000
Location: Benicia, CA

• Design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and write system specifications.
• Analyze requirements, define system architectures, conduct thorough testing, and ensure seamless integration of subsystems.
• Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain system documentation and support operational excellence.

• Gather and document system requirements and maintain version‑controlled designs.
• Administer Linux‑based control environments (servers, IOCs, containers).
• Lead development and deployment of EPICS or DCS/SCADA systems.
• Design and integrate distributed control architectures.
• Develop EPICS IOCs and operator interfaces (Phoebus, CSS).
• Implement automation using tools such as Ansible.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity.
• Establish documentation, standards, and training materials.
• Perform system validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support virtualization and container‑based deployments.

• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with EPICS or similar DCS/SCADA frameworks.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, scripting).
• Knowledge of networking and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• EPICS IOC development and Stream Device.
• Phoebus or CSS UI development.
• Virtualization/container platforms (Proxmox, VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Real‑time or near‑real‑time systems experience.
• Hardware interface integration.
• Cybersecurity practices for control systems.
• Scientific or industrial instrumentation experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
