Fabricator Level 1 Helper

Benicia

$20 an hour. Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, with occasional Saturday overtime as needed.

Assist in all shop areas including gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair, and conveyor belting departments. Use various tools to measure, manipulate, cut gaskets, and fabricate hoses and related products. Perform general shop duties as required.

• Assist in any shop area: gasket, hose, mechanical seal, cylinder repair, conveyor belting.
• Measure, manipulate, and cut gaskets using appropriate tools.
• Fabricate hoses and related products.
• Perform general shop duties (cleaning, organization, inventory).

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of industrial shop experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• 1–2 years of fabricating experience.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to use a tape measure and perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Stand for extended periods.
• Work in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
