The location in Bennettsville, (South Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Electrical Engineer. This job is full-time permanent.

Overview:
This position is part of the Engineering Department at the Marlboro Paper Mill in Bennettsville, SC. The Marlboro Mill produces approximately 900 tons of slush pulp/day, 800 tons/day of fine white paper, and approximately 300 tons/day of market pulp. The Engineering Department supports the mill through electrical and mechanical capital projects, maintenance initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that drive operational excellence across the facility.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking to gain hands-on project experience in a large-scale manufacturing environment while building a long-term career with a stable industry leader.

Your Challenges

Partner with mill production departments to provide electrical engineering expertise and technical support Develop, coordinate, and manage electrical engineering projects throughout the mill Support capital and maintenance projects from planning through implementation Manage project planning, prioritization, scheduling, budgeting, and execution Assist with improvements related to electrical, power, and instrumentation systems Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency Support continuous improvement and safe work practices across the facility

Your Skills

Strong computer, technical, and time management skills Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment Strong organizational and project management abilities Positive attitude with a strong safety mindset and work ethic

Your Profile

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required Three or more years of project engineering experience preferred Co-op experience will be considered relevant work experience Experience with electrical, power, and instrumentation systems is preferred but not required Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
