At VPI, you’ll be part of a mission‑driven team that works every day to ensure youth feel supported, empowered, and connected to family and permanency.

As a Permanency Coordinator, you play a vital role in guiding youth and families through the permanency process by:

• Serving as a key liaison between youth, parents, state agencies, permanency teams, and community partners
• Supporting each youth’s progress according to their individualized Treatment Plan
• Applying trauma‑informed, strength‑based, youth‑guided practices that align with the Building Bridges and Families First Initiatives
• Helping youth actively participate in ITP meetings and work toward Family & Community goals
• Traveling to family visits, community appointments, and life‑skills opportunities
• Participating in court hearings, monthly reviews, and case planning
• Completing timely documentation required by state and agency standards
• Supporting youth skill development that prepares them for permanency and successful transitions
• Collaborating with the permanency and clinical team for coverage and reporting
• Managing calendars for appointments, visits, meetings, and program needs
• Completing additional responsibilities assigned by the Permanency Specialist, Clinical Director, or Director of Operations

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with emotionally or behavioral intensive individuals.
• Bachelor’s in social work, psychology, education, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license & 21+ years of age.
• Satisfactory completion of background and applicable pre-employment checks.
