Open Assignments:
  • Elementary Autism Self-Contained Class (K-5):
    Up to 6 students
  • Middle School Therapeutic Classroom (Grades 6-8):
    Caseload up to 10 students, trauma-informed background needed
  • High School Therapeutic Classroom (Grades 9-12):
    Caseload up to 12 students, trauma-informed background necessary
Key

Qualifications:
  • Valid Special Education licensure (state eligibility required)
  • Experience in self-contained or autism-focused classrooms preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise working with students affected by trauma, especially for middle and high school roles
  • Adaptability for travel assignments
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff
  • Monitor and report on student growth and progress
  • Support students' emotional and behavioral needs
