Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at The Center for Living & Rehabilitation. As a PTA, you will work closely with our experienced physical therapy staff to provide high-quality patient care and support in our state-of-the-art Subacute Rehab wing.

About the Role:

• Provide physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Conduct exercises and interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as dressing and bathing
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with physical therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in patient care planning and coordination
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
• Perform other duties as assigned by the physical therapist or therapy manager

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies
• Current PTA licensure in the state of Vermont
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
