The Center for Living & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Director to join our team! As a vital member of our healthcare community, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating recreational and therapeutic activities for our residents. • Plan, organize, and execute diverse recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and entertainment programs
• Develop and maintain relationships with community resources to provide a wide range of activities and services for residents
• Collaborate with rehabilitation staff to develop and implement therapeutic activities that support resident goals and outcomes
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activities programming
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities programs, making adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate records of activity participation and outcomes

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or a related field preferred
• experience in a long-term care setting; experience in activities direction or a related field a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and circumstances in a fast-paced environment
