Vishay Tansitor is currently seeking applicants for a Planner/Buyer
. In this position you will have full responsibility for handling the entire production flow of capacitors — starting from raw materials planning and purchasing, all the way through production to delivering the final product to the consumer.
Bennington, VT – the world’s number one manufacturer of wet tantalum and conformal‑coated capacitors. Tansitor has approximately 100 employees across three shifts.
Responsibilities- RM supply planning and controlling based on historical usage and coming demand (using BOM).
- Work to reach divisional inventory turns targets and avoid slow‑moving/"dead" stock.
- Purchase orders creation based on price and terms agreements with suppliers.
- Constant follow‑up of orders with suppliers and logistic services until material arrival at the plant.
- Handle purchase orders pull in/push out based on demand fluctuations.
- Efficient production line loading within all limitations during fulfillment of customer demand.
- Follow‑up and adjustment of customers/production orders based on demand fluctuations.
- Meet divisional KPI (CMP; PMP, Inventory Turns).
- Inventory (WIP+FG+RM) control and management.
- SAP+ Mysis Key User Responsibility.
- Periodic report creation and distribution.
- Handle RM and WIP for engineering evaluations.
- Participate in RM qualification projects.
- Inventory (RM+WIP+FG) obsolescence submission.
- Microsoft Office, Excel – very high level.
- 2–3 years of experience in planning, logistics.
- Experience in procurement is an advantage.
- Experience working with an international company is an advantage.
