Formation Operator- 2nd Shift

Overview

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is a Fortune 1,000 company that manufactures discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team in Bennington, VT as a Formation Operator on the second shift.

• Perform chemical preparation of materials used in the manufacturing process.
• Operate a variety of automatic and semi‑automatic machines and equipment while following process specifications at all times, immersing parts into solution tanks for prescribed times and removing them after completion of the cycle.
• Read meters and perform required calculations, adhering to specific instructions.
• Conduct minor but sensitive changeovers and setups requiring extreme accuracy.
• Visually inspect parts for conformance to specifications and record data on the lot traveler ticket; communicate process specifics or issues to engineers and technicians.

• Previous manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Ability to work in environments with occasional dust, noise, heat, and mild chemicals that stay below acceptable limits as established by government standards.
• Adherence to company quality and safety requirements, including required PPE.

Pay range $19‑22 per hour.
