Overview
Essential Functions Plan and coordinate fundraising events for the SVHC Foundation, including but not limited to the annual Gala, Jingle Bell, SVHC Today gatherings, and Masters in the Mountains Golf Tournament. Creates community awareness through outreach events regarding current initiatives. Manages select Foundation events in conjunction with the Director of Development and Foundation staff. Works with SVHC Marketing Dept to update, create, and revise development web pages as necessary.
Strategies marketing plans to educate and engage donor prospects in support of organizational events. Implements annual fundraising events, including coordination of volunteers, solicitation of sponsor ships, vendor confirmations, event auctions and raffle sales. Assists with the coordination of annual giving programs. Raisers Edge NXT functions; mailing lists, event tracking, query/reports. Keeps up to date on a wide variety of SVHC operations, activities, and initiatives.
Assists with the development and marketing of Corporate Development initiatives. Assists with and posts corporate development social media initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
Associates in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Three years of progressively responsible development and fundraising experience required. Experience in marketing, direct mailings, and special events management.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Valid driver’s license required
