Dartmouth Health's Department of Psychiatry seeks a full‑time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who will work at the new inpatient psychiatric unit for adolescents at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) in Bennington, VT. The role includes an alternating schedule with some night and weekend coverage in the basic schedule, and generous vacation and conference time.
Your responsibilities will include delivering state‑of‑the‑art inpatient psychiatric care to adolescents ages 12‑17 as part of an experienced interdisciplinary team of psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, psychiatrists, and medical providers. You will also be encouraged to pursue professional development opportunities, including clinical supervision, precepting, and didactic teaching within our APRN and other psychiatric education programs.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program
- National specialty certification as Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of New Hampshire (APRN only)
- Eligible for APRN licensure in the State of New Hampshire
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification
