- Develop and deliver educational programs on infection prevention and control for staff, physicians, and community partners.
- Lead orientation and annual training sessions for employees on best practices in infection control and patient safety.
- Stay updated on evolving regulations and guidelines from CMS, CDC, APIC, and other agencies to ensure compliance.
- Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, providing ongoing education and support on infection control measures.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement in infection prevention and patient care.
- Weekend on-call required.
- Registered Nurse (RN): Must have a current RN license in the state of Vermont.
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Experience in healthcare education and staff training preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
