Family Engagement Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Family Engagement Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities include transporting children and parents to needed services and providing supported contact for children and parents within office and community settings to allow separated families to have safe and productive time with each other. In addition, Family Engagement Assistants may call family members when youth come into DCF custody, to assist in the development of a support network for those youth and their families.

• High School diploma or equivalent (minimum age 18). An Associate’s Degree and experience in Human Services is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting.
• Your own reliable vehicle with insurance that meets our coverage limits.

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8am‑5pm.

$18 hourly, with additional compensation based upon experience.
