Crisis Stabilization Support Worker

United Children's Services of Bennington County, Inc. seeks a compassionate Crisis Stabilization Support Worker to join our dedicated team in assisting children experiencing emotional, psychological, or behavioral crises. This role is pivotal in providing immediate intervention and support, utilizing therapeutic techniques to help stabilize situations, and facilitating access to additional mental health services when needed. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment that prioritizes the well-being and continuous growth of every child.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to crises involving children and families.
• Assess the needs of children in crisis to determine appropriate interventions.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and other therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with mental health professionals to facilitate further care if required.
• Document all interventions and outcomes accurately.
• Participate in training and development sessions to enhance job performance.

Required Skills
