Controller, Accounting, Financial Reporting

Position Overview

Join a growing global manufacturing organization where you'll play a key role in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and technical accounting initiatives. This position offers broad exposure across the finance organization, partnering with leadership, external auditors, tax advisors, and business units while contributing to process improvements and financial reporting excellence.

• Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage fixed asset accounting and lease accounting (ASC 842), including reconciliations and compliance.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation entries.
• Research technical accounting issues and assist with the implementation of new accounting standards.
• Coordinate external audit requests and support annual audit activities.
• Partner with domestic and international business units to ensure consistent accounting policies and reporting practices.
• Help strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Partner with risk management and finance teams on insurance, compliance, and financial reporting initiatives.
• Participate in system enhancements, reporting improvements, and special projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred.
• 3+ years of accounting experience within a corporate accounting environment or public accounting firm;
  Big Four experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidations, financial reporting, and technical accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly preferred.
• Experience using One Stream or a comparable financial consolidation/reporting system is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and business units.
• Experience with in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
