Night Customer Service Associate

Summary of Position

The Customer Service associate will support the company’s mission of providing outstanding service to our customers and drivers by courteously receiving incoming calls, entering orders, and collaborating with other employees to satisfy customer needs. The associate will communicate with dispatch and drivers to ensure maximum customer service.

• Provide excellent and courteous customer service by receiving calls and understanding customer requirements and needs. This includes correctly capturing customer requests in the company’s ERP system – Sea soft.
• Learn and maintain high levels of product knowledge to properly service customers.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers to grow relationships.
• Act as an advisor, informing customers of items not ordered or out of stock per the regular ordering process and offering appropriate alternatives that meet customer needs.
• Ensure accuracy of customer information and that data entry into the company ERP is correct.
• Partner with Drivers and Outside Sales to ensure customer requirements are met in a timely fashion.
• Perform other duties as required by the Sales Manager.

• Demonstrated phone‑based customer service. Knowledge of seafood preferred, but not required. Full training is available.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated desire to work in an exciting fast‑paced environment.
• Highly developed English verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency in using a personal computer and Microsoft Office Suite, including high internet fluency. ERP experience a plus.
