Long-Term Substitute – School Psychologist

We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to serve in a long-term substitute role. This position supports students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success through collaboration with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct psycho educational evaluations and assist with eligibility determinations
• Participate in IEP and problem-solving meetings
• Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families
• Assist with MTSS and behavioral intervention planning
• Conduct observations and provide recommendations for student supports
• Maintain appropriate documentation, reports, and service records
• Support crisis intervention and consultation as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
• Illinois PEL with School Psychologist Endorsement

Physical Demands:

• Ability to read and communicate effectively with employees of the District.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in either written, diagram, or oral form.
• Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
• Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
