Overview
We are seeking a Service Manager for our electrical contracting business to lead and manage the service department to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services to our clients. The ideal candidate will strive to achieve Facility Solutions Group quality standards and benchmarks while enforcing all safety practices.
Responsibilities- Manage and lead the service department, ensuring that all team members meet performance expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to service calls in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and control service department expenses, maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by technicians and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Work with sales team to provide quotes and proposals for service work.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure customer satisfaction and growth of service business.
- Ensure accurate billing and timely collection of payments for services provided.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability of the service department.
- Provide regular reports on service department performance, financials, and other key metrics to management.
- 5 years of experience in the electrical contracting industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and metrics.
- Familiarity with industry software and tools for service management.
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening.
