We are currently seeking an experienced AOG Sheet Metal Technician (Part-Time)!
Individuals with military backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply! Strong consideration is given to applicants with military history.
The AOG Sheet Metal Technician will perform advanced sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations on aircraft structures. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company standards. This individual may also support AOG operations at various stations.

- Utilizing special skills such as but not limited to; close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, shooting and or bucking rivets, trimming, use of micrometers, and calipers.
- Perform complex sheet metal fabrication and repairs per technical drawings
- Makes sheet metal layouts; sets up and operates fabricating machinery; and installations for conformance to specifications.
- Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification in accordance with technical manuals, engineering drawings, and FAA regulations
- Maintain compliance with FAA, OEM, and safety standards.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a valid State Driver’s License
- Must have a valid Airframe License
- Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
- Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
- Must have 5+ years aircraft sheet metal experience
- Must have 5+ years experience in aircraft sheet metal or similar precision metalwork
- Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
- Must have strong technical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. You will often be exposed to various weather elements as well.
- The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
