DescriptionESSENTIAL JOB TASKS. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Review and maintain any required logs, check sheets, inspection sheets, and work orders.
- Obtain and ensure that the correct roll stock or any other material is being used at all times and located by machinery.
- Position all rolls of material on unwinder and thread film through the machine.
- Perform Thermoforming machinery start-ups and shut downs.
- Ability to perform material jams/clearing in machinery.
- Monitor machines for mechanical problems by listening for unusual noises and visually checking gears, hoses, gauges, materials, etc.
- Lift heavy objects by hand or use hand pallet jack and clean work area, machines, and equipment, using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds, to assist machine operators.
- Immediately take corrective action for any machine stoppage; notify Lead or Supervisor and request maintenance assistance in the event of serious problems with machinery or parts and assist in problem solving if other personnel are required.
- Recognize and correct safety hazards as they are identified.
- Maintain assigned lines in a clean and orderly condition; follow all safety policies and procedures including lockout/tag out, GMP practices to meet company standards.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing Events as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Gather packaging supplies needed for the job and build carton boxes for assigned line.
- Inspect products for functional and major/minor defects as defined by customer specifications.
- Compare shape, texture, or grade of product or material with sample to verify that it conforms to standards.
- Sort and pack finished product into bags, carton or other containers according to customer specifications.
- Stack finished cartons on skids in proper pattern.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
3rd Shift: 11PM-7AM Monday-Friday

Compensation range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other related factors. We are committed to fair and equitable competition practices.
