Work Environment

This role is based in a wire and cable manufacturing facility that produces and coats electrical wires and cables from scratch. The environment includes high-speed production lines where wire is fed from large spools into machines at speeds of 1,200–1,500 feet per minute and coated via extruders in various colors and thicknesses. You will work around equipment such as rewinders, wire formers, and other high-speed machinery in a busy production and warehouse setting.

The primary opening is on 1st shift, generally 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with openness to overtime as needed. The broader facility also operates 1st (7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.), 2nd (3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.), and 3rd (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday) shifts to support expanded production. The company has recently added two new buildings to increase capacity, creating an environment of growth and continuous improvement.

You will work on your feet in a production floor setting, handling materials and equipment in a structured, safety-focused environment, with standard industrial attire appropriate for a manufacturing facility.
