Job Summary: Uses technology-based instruction to sustain the specific courses and curricula mandated by the educational mission and goals of the College.
Essential Functions- Instructs students in assigned classes.
- Provides academic guidance and counseling to students in cooperation with Student Services Personnel.
- Maintains academic standards.
- Prepares course syllabus and outline.
- Monitors student progress.
- Keeps adequate and accurate records.
- Enters final course grades online.
Other duties as assigned.
AccountabilitiesUnder the direct supervision of the Dean, each Adjunct faculty member is responsible for satisfying the educational, administrative, and fiscal requirements inherent in their position.
Job SpecificationsEMT Licensure and Michigan Instructor Coordinator (I/C) license or EMT-P I/C. Must be BLS certified as an instructor. Equivalent of three (3) years of relevant full‑time, non‑teaching work experience.
SalaryHourly pay determined by education level:
- No Degree / Certificate Only - $48.00
- Bachelors Degree - $51.50
- Masters Degree - $53.50
- Doctorate - $59.00
This course is taught on‑campus. Monday through Thursday summer work hours apply to this position.
