Elementary School, Early Childhood Education
Since 1975, Brookview Montessori School has provided an authentic Montessori education to a diverse community of students from infancy through eighth grade. Grounded in the belief that each child is inherently capable and learns in their own unique way, Brookview creates an environment where children engage joyfully, think independently, and grow into confident, compassionate individuals.
Set on a beautiful 10-acre campus adjacent to the St. Joseph River and near the shores of Lake Michigan, the school’s woods, gardens, and outdoor spaces are not just amenities—they are essential extensions of the classroom. Here, learning is lived as much as it is taught.
Brookview is fully accredited by the American Montessori Society (AMS)—the gold standard in Montessori education, and is one of only four AMS-accredited schools in Michigan. This distinction reflects not only adherence to numerous professional standards, but a demonstrated commitment to living its mission in daily practice. It is a school where authenticity matters—where Montessori is not a label, but a discipline.
