Overview
Lake Michigan College invites qualified chemistry educators to join a continuous applicant pool as Adjunct Faculty. Instructors will deliver in‑person instruction on the Benton Harbor campus during summer (Monday–Thursday). The position is administered through Edustaff, LLC, with immediate transcript documentation required upon hire.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned chemistry courses using technology‑based instruction.
- Provide academic guidance and counseling in collaboration with Student Services.
- Maintain academic standards and monitor student progress.
- Prepare course syllabus and outline.
- Keep accurate records and enter final course grades online.
- Master’s degree or higher in chemistry or a closely related field; or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate credits in chemistry.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Hourly rate: $61 per contact hour.
- Location:
Benton Harbor, Michigan campus. - Work hours:
Monday through Thursday (summer). In‑person instruction required. - Candidates will be screened into a continuous applicant pool; successful applicants will be notified by Edustaff.
