This is a full-time on-site role for a College Admissions Recruiter at Lake Michigan College’s main campus in Benton Harbor, MI. The primary responsibilities include developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract prospective students, organizing and participating in college fairs, school visits, and community outreach events. The Admissions Recruiter will provide personalized information to students, guide them through the application and enrollment processes, and collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new students.
The recruiter will also maintain accurate records and perform data analysis to assess the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives.
- Strong skills in Enrollment Management and Student Recruiting, with the ability to attract and guide prospective students
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with diverse student populations and community partners
- Experience in Recruiting and building relationships with high schools, community organizations, and other partners
- Proficiency in data analysis, organizational skills, and attention to detail to monitor recruitment efforts' effectiveness
- Ability to work collaboratively with college departments and support student transitions
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (required); experience in higher education admissions or enrollment management is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed
