Network Lead

Job Description

The role is a senior network engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining global enterprise networks involving WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless and security technologies across 200+ sites.

• Technology experience:
  Cisco Routing & Switching, Cisco Wireless, Juniper Mist, VMware Velo Cloud SD‑WAN, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Solar Winds, Service Now, AWS, GCP, VPN, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and support for network refresh and lifecycle modernization initiatives.
• Review EOL/EOS device inventory and recommend technology refresh plans.
• Coordinate site network upgrades and deployment activities, including support for offshore and onshore support organizations.
• Lead major incident and escalation management for network services.
• Act as primary technical liaison between customers and delivery teams.
• Provide advanced L2/L3 support for LAN, WLAN, WAN, SD‑WAN and firewall technologies.
• Coordinate with ISPs, carriers, OEMs, and third‑party vendors for fault resolution and OEM/vendor management.
• Support lifecycle refresh, EOL/EOS remediation, and infrastructure modernization programs.
• Drive root‑cause analysis, trend analysis, and service improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Weekly Operations Reviews, Monthly Service Reviews, and leadership discussions.
• Support network changes, upgrades, implementation and transition activities.
• Maintain network documentation, runbooks, CMDB accuracy, and knowledge repositories.
• Partner with automation teams to deploy AI‑enabled Net Ops and self‑healing capabilities.
• Utilize Solar Winds, Service Now and other enterprise monitoring platforms for event correlation and alert tuning.
• Collaborate on AI‑led network operations initiatives and drive continuous service improvement opportunities.

• 10+ years of Network Engineering and Operations experience.
• Experience supporting global enterprise networks with 200+ sites.
• Experience with WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless and security technologies.
• Strong customer‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating offshore support organizations.
• Bachelor of Computer Science.

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 a year.
