TEKsystems is helping our client find a Sr Network Architect to lead their Network group. Our client is seeking a visionary, growth‑minded leader for the role of Senior Manager, Network Architecture. Operating on‑site five days a week, you will directly oversee, mentor, and inspire a broad team of over 20 network experts. In this high‑visibility leadership role you will report straight to the Director of Infrastructure & Operations and be uniquely poised as a successor for this Director‑level position.

You will champion the vitality and evolution of our multi‑service data network, driving global technology decisions that accelerate business innovation and cloud‑native automation. Balancing executive strategy with operational excellence, you will also optimize workflows and delegate critical support processes to strategic support suppliers (NOC).

Key Skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years experience with Enterprise Network Architecture, Design, and Security: LAN, WAN, Wireless, DCs, Firewalls, IPSec VPNs, and network segmentation
  • Deep expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including routers, switches, BGP, EIGRP, VLANs, Spanning Tree, and related platforms (CCNP Preferred)
  • Cloud Networking (AWS + GCP):
    Supporting multi‑region, multi‑cloud architectures, and cloud‑native networking services
  • Network Leadership & Team Management:
    Act as subject matter expert and drive accountability, technical excellence, operations, and vendor management
How You Will Win
  • Lead & Inspire:
    Directly oversee, mentor, and empower a broad team of 20 network experts, cultivating a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous growth.
  • Architect Global Connectivity:
    Plan and architect enterprise‑scale LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Center deployments; spearhead integration of core network services including L2/L3 switching, BGP & EIGRP routing, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, load balancing, IPAM, DNS/DHCP, firewalls, IPSec VPN, and SD‑WAN.
  • Innovate in the Cloud:
    Champion the design, implementation, and maintenance of a multi‑region, multi‑cloud (AWS/GCP) network environment, seamlessly supporting our IaaS VPCs and accelerating cloud‑native (PaaS) capabilities.
  • Fortify Network Security:
    Lead and participate in high‑impact network security initiatives, including driving critical manufacturing segmentation deployments to secure our global footprint.
  • Master Operational Excellence:
    Serve as the ultimate escalation point, providing expert trouble resolution for critical, high‑priority core network issues; ensure after‑hours support coverage and implement essential maintenance tasks and structured processes.
  • Evaluate, manage, and evolve core network monitoring and diagnostic tools, ensuring the NOC has deep visibility and mature workflows required to proactively support our global network.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years experience as a Network/Cloud/Infrastructure Architect
Preferred Skills & Experiences
  • AWS Certified (Solutions Architect or Advanced Networking)
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Network Engineer Certification
  • Cisco CCNP
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
  • Knowledge of SD‑WAN technologies, manufacturing segmentation architectures, and system monitoring tools such as Solar Winds
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills with experience managing third‑party vendors for operations support and project delivery
  • Experience in a global and international work environment, designing and troubleshooting connectivity within AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms
  • Experienced with Cisco equipment and OS, including configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and support of routers and switches; LAN and WAN protocols and topologies (EIGRP, BGP, MPLS); switching technologies (VLANs, Spanning‑Tree, VSS); security technologies including Palo Alto firewalls, VPN, and Remote Access
  • Strong analytical skills, practical problem solving, and ability to engage cross‑functional teams
  • Experience with short‑ and long‑term planning to meet network requirements
