We are seeking an experienced Machining Supervisor to lead a skilled team in a precision manufacturing environment in the Benton Harbor area. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned machinist who enjoys mentoring others while remaining hands‑on with CNC and manual machining operations.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong machining professional with leadership experience who can oversee daily production, support employees, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

• Lead, coach, and manage a team of 4–6 machinists
• Schedule daily production to meet customer deadlines and delivery commitments
• Coordinate with Project Managers regarding production timelines and upcoming work
• Collaborate with other department managers to ensure production goals are achieved
• Perform employee coaching, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC and manual machining equipment
• Read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings
• Program and edit G-code as required
• Select proper tooling and determine appropriate speeds and feeds for a variety of materials
• Machine precision radius parts and taper profiles to tight tolerances
• Ensure proper machine setup, quality inspections, and process improvements
• Learn and oversee plating applications (training provided)
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

• Extensive experience operating and setting up both CNC and manual machine tools

• Excellent mathematical and problem‑solving skills
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop
• Ability to prioritize production schedules and adapt to changing customer needs

• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
