Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Business Development
Overview
Job Summary The Senior Purchasing Specialist is responsible for negotiating the most critical/difficult purchasing agreements and the coordination, dissemination, and enforcement of the purchase agreements/contracts.
Responsibilities- Manages the consultation and contracting process for the most complex commodities.
- Manages the commercial aspects of new developments for the most complex programs.
- Conducts RFPs and RFQs and supports RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs initiated by Dassault Aviation (parent company).
- Development of contracts and agreements.
- Reduce the costs of purchased materials for commodities.
- Ensure that suppliers meet their contractual obligations and negotiate recovery plans and financial damages.
- Documents and resolves disputes with suppliers.
- Works with other departments to ensure that supplier constraints are understood and taken into account.
- Explore various methods of cost savings including investigating and evaluating new sources of supply, contract negotiation, and integrated suppliers.
- Serves as back-up for Purchasing Supervisor or Manager.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.
- Six (6) years of experience in the purchasing field, including negotiating agreements and the writing and management of the contract process.
- Advanced knowledge of contract negotiation methods, practices, and techniques in complex or highly technical environments.
- Advanced knowledge of purchasing procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- None
Normal office environment. Occasional travel may be required.
Compensation And BenefitsThe compensation for this position typically falls between $70,738.00 and $94,502.50 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime under FLSA guidelines.

the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
