Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Teacher to join our team in one of the following classrooms:
Infant, Toddler, or Preschool, depending on experience and staffing needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, understands developmental milestones, and is ready to contribute to a safe, engaging, and enriching classroom environment.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with our hybrid nature-based curriculum
  • Foster a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive classroom atmosphere
  • Maintain daily communication with parents using Brightwheel
  • Promote positive behavior and model respect, kindness, and empathy
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
  • Observe and document developmental progress and milestones
  • Collaborate with other teachers and leadership to maintain a cohesive learning environment
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with DHS and Better Beginnings standards

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a licensed childcare setting
  • Must meet all DHS requirements, including background checks and trainings
  • Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the needs of young children
