City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide academic and social-emotional support to students in partnership with teachers
• Deliver small-group and one-on-one tutoring in core subjects
• Monitor, track, and report on student progress and engagement
• Support classroom management and create a positive learning environment
• Lead or assist with after-school programs and school-wide events
• Collaborate with a diverse Ameri
• Corps team and school staff
• Participate in ongoing training, reflection, and professional development
• Engage families and community partners to support student success
